Dear Residents,
On the 12th of June we will celebrate the start of the International Conference on Emergency Medicine 2023 in Amsterdam:
The Resident Social Event
Our event will start directly after the ICEM welcome drinks and registration at the RAI (18:00-19:00hrs). We’ll move to Strand Zuid, where we will leave at 19:45hrs on a cruise with multiple canal boats. Be on time, you definitely do not want to miss this boat! Along our 2-hour cruise we will explore the beautiful city of Amsterdam and get to know each other. There will be an open bar and some bites to enjoy on board.
Drop off is at the Van Puffelen Café, a traditional Dutch “Bruin” café located in the heart of the canal belt. This is where the afterparty continues!
Please be aware that we have a different begin and end point of the cruise.
Due to very successful early bird sales, our boats are already full! Unfortunately, this means that currently we cannot accept additional registrations. But fear not, we have a waiting list, and we’ll try to organise a cruise for this group as well.

The Resident Social Event on Monday, 12 June, will take place after the ICEM Welcome Reception.
Boat cruises depart near the RAI at the StrandZuid docks to Van Puffelen will depart at 19:45h. Please ensure your arrive at the pick-up location in time for the departure. MCI & Ovation Team will be located at the dock station holding ICEM signage for you to find the dock at StrandZuid restaurant.
